Affiefees celebrates school community spirit
What started as an annual tradition to give thanks to the Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool (WAP) community and welcome newcomers has quickly evolved into a cherished social event on the school's annual calendar.
This year’s Affiefees stayed true to its original vision despite being moved to April to coincide with the Nammed NAPSO Blitz 7s, the school’s CEO, Alida Hill, said in her welcoming speech.
With Namibian artists Stefan Ludik and John Rock Prophet – once schoolmates at Windhoek High School – as well as up-and-coming artist Fran Prins and Droomsindroom in the line-up, this fixture on the school calendar will be hard to beat.
Here are some snapshots of Friday's event.
