#JustIn: Chevron, Namcor sign on the dotted line
The national petroleum company Namcor has announced a farm-out agreement with Chevron to form Chevron Namibia Exploration Limited (CNEL), with 80% operating working interest in off-shore oil exploration area PEL82.
"Our partnership with CNEL and Custos Energy represents a shared vision for the future of Namibia's energy landscape," Ebson Uangtua, interim managing director of Namcor, said. Custos owns a 10% share, equal to Namcor.
