COTA runway show marks 7 years of stunning creativity

The College of the Arts (COTA) hosted its annual fashion show on Saturday, marking seven years of celebrating emerging talent within Namibia's growing creative landscape. The event brought together first-, second- and third-year fashion design students, each presenting collections shaped by their coursework.

The runway featured a diverse blend of concepts ranging from cultural storytelling and fabric experimentation to sustainability and contemporary silhouettes. First-year students showcased two looks each, including a ready-to-wear garment and an upcycled piece, while second-year designers presented four-look mini collections highlighting their developing skills. Third-year students introduced their eight-look capstone ranges, displaying advanced construction techniques and individual design identity.

Here are some glimpses of the stunning clothing presented during the show, celebrating seven years of creative expression.
