The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (Namfisa) in its continued commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and Investment (CSRI) and the positive

impact it has had on various communities in Namibia. As part of Namfisa’s CSRI initiatives, the regulator prioritised N$447 239 in support of educational, cultural, and social programs aimed at uplifting and empowering individuals and communities across the country.



In line with its pursuit of promoting inclusive growth, social well-being, and sustainable development, Namfisa has made significant national contributions to various organisations, schools, councils, and initiatives. These contributions are aimed at fostering community development, improving access to education, and supporting local enterprises to create positive change and foster sustainable development in Namibia.



Namfisa, as a responsible corporate citizen,plays a meaningful role in society by funding projects and activities that positively contribute to national development in Namibia, said Kenneth

Matomola, Namfisa CEO said.



Namfisa's CSRI initiatives, guided by our CSRI Policy, prioritizes educational initiatives to promote financial literacy and empowers consumers with knowledge to make informed financial decisions, support for sports, arts, and culture, addressing general concerns such as health and national issues, and promoting advancements in information communication technology (ICT), particularly FINTECH.



“As we move forward, NAMFISA will continue to align its CSRI efforts with national development goals, ensuring that our contributions have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of Namibians,” said Matomola.
