The courts were alive with energy and purpose as Nictus Holdings hosted its annual Charity Padel Day, bringing together players, families, and friends for a day of fun, networking, and giving back.

This year’s event was dedicated to supporting nine local charities, each of which does vital work to uplift and empower communities across Namibia. From education and healthcare to animal welfare and social development, these organisations represent how caring for others can create wealth for everyone.

The beneficiaries of this year’s initiative include:

• Huis Maerua

• Netwerk

• Windhoek High School

• Cancer Association of Namibia

• Legacy of Love

• Have-A-Heart

• Lechem

• Dagbreek School

• One Economy Foundation

Each of these charities was selected for their meaningful contributions and the positive impact they

continue to make in the lives of others. Nictus Holdings and its subsidiaries are proud to support them in their ongoing missions.

Following the padel matches, the day continued with a lively charity auction, where suppliers generously donated a variety of items. Attendees had the opportunity to bid on these contributions, with all proceeds going directly to the supported charities. The auction added a spirited and engaging close to the day’s activities, reinforcing the shared commitment to giving back.

“Our Charity Padel Day is about more than just sport. It is about community,” said Philippus Tromp, Nictus Holdings MD. “It is a chance to come together, have fun, and make a difference in a way that’s grounded in humility and shared purpose. As wealth creators, we believe in creating opportunities that extend beyond business into the heart of the communities we serve.”
