1992 Miss Universe alumni reunite on Namibian safari
Fourteen former Miss Universe 1992 contestants have reunited in Namibia for a special safari hosted by former Miss Universe Michelle McLean in partnership with Gondwana Collection Namibia.
The reunion kicked off on Saturday and ends on 23 March. It marks the largest gathering of contestants from the 1992 pageant and celebrates a sisterhood that has remained connected for more than three decades.
The group arrived in Namibia on a private aircraft from Cape Town and was welcomed during a media briefing held at the VVIP terminal at Hosea Kutako International Airport.
During their stay, the contestants will travel across Namibia while staying at various Gondwana lodges, participating in a safari experience that highlights the country’s landscapes and conservation efforts.
The programme also includes visits to community initiatives supported by the Gondwana Care Trust and the Michelle McLean Children Trust, including a visit to the Michelle McLean Primary School.
The reunion follows previous gatherings held in Barcelona in 2018 and Miami in 2020.
