Algeria's Sonatrach, Occidental Petroleum sign MOUs on hydrocarbon cooperation
Algerian energy firm Sonatrach signed two memorandums of understanding (MOU) with U.S. shale company Occidental Petroleum to expand cooperation in hydrocarbon exploration and production in Algeria, Sonatrach said in a statement.
The MOUs were signed on Monday on the sidelines of the US-Algeria Energy Forum 2025.-REUTERS
Exxon consortium to begin installation of floating oil facility in Guyana
A consortium led by U.S. oil major Exxon Mobil is about to begin installing its fourth floating oil production facility in Guyana, the South American country's maritime regulator said in a notice on Tuesday.
The floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility 'One Guyana,' built by SBM Offshore with a 250 000 barrel-per-day capacity, departed Singapore in mid-February and arrived in Guyanese waters this week.-REUTERS
