Namibia Breweries rejoins Team Namibia
Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) rejoined Team Namibia as Platinum Member, reinforcing a proud commitment to local excellence. It also reaffirmed its status as a proud Namibian business and a key driver of Namibian economic growth.
This milestone aligns NBL with Namibia's "Growth at Home" strategy under the Ministry of Industrialisation of Trade, which champions industrialisation, value addition, and strengthened local supply chains, ensuring that Namibian talent, resources, and products benefit the nation.
“With roots dating back to 1920, NBL has always been part of Namibia's heritage and economic community," said Waldemar von Lieres, MD of NBL.
“Rejoining Team Namibia allows us to continue creating value at home, supporting Namibian suppliers, strengthening local manufacturing, and contributing to job creation and economic resilience,” he added.
According to von Lieres, rejoining Team Namibia is part of the national effort to brew a Better Namibia" Platinum Membership reflects NBL's leadership in the beverage industry and its dedication to Namibian-made products.
von Lieres added that through Team Namibia, NBL will promote Namibian-made products and strengthen local value chains, inspire competitive standards across industries, stimulate consumer confidence in local products and support sustainable economic impact through local partnerships and job creation
