Balcony Mix Africa Festival draws thousands in Windhoek

The second edition of the Balcony Mix Africa Festival took place on Saturday, 17 October, at Wanderers Stadium in Windhoek, attracting thousands of people who came out to enjoy the event.

The festival gave Namibian local DJs Erro, Kandy and Dreas an opportunity to showcase their skills on an international platform and perform alongside some of the biggest names in African music.

South African DJ duo and founders of The Balcony Mix Africa, Major League DJz, also graced the stage, alongside fellow South African DJs Vigro Deep, Sun-El Musician, Oscar Mbo and DJ Maphorisa.

The event brought together music lovers and entertainment enthusiasts who enjoyed the performances and atmosphere throughout the festival.

The event marked the second edition of the festival in Windhoek.

With thousands of people attending this year’s edition, the organisers expressed their satisfaction with the turnout and said next year’s edition is expected to be “bigger and better.”
