PostNet to open Windhoek store

PostNet, a business-to-business franchise, is taking a giant leap beyond its borders with the opening of two brand-new stores in Windhoek, Namibia and Gaborone, Botswana, both set to open their doors this October.

With a network of over 500 thriving stores across South Africa, and a proud franchising legacy dating back to 1994, PostNet continues to be the go-to brand for printing, copying, courier, digital, stationery, and business support services.

This latest expansion marks a major milestone in PostNet’s vision to serve growing business communities throughout Southern Africa. CEO Chris Wheeler shared his excitement.

“We are thrilled to be opening in both Windhoek and Gaborone—two capital cities with incredible growth and entrepreneurial spirit. These are just the first steps. We have already awarded franchises in Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, Namibia, and we are actively working on launching more stores in both Namibia and Botswana. Looking further afield, our recent visit to Mauritius uncovered exciting opportunities, and we are enthusiastic about what’s to come.”

The Windhoek store will be led by franchisee Louis Prins, who is excited to bring the brand to Namibia for the first time.

“I am very excited to be opening the first PostNet store in Namibia. Windhoek is the ideal starting point for us, and we’re looking forward to delivering PostNet’s trusted service and value to individuals and businesses across the capital.”
