Condor to resume flights to Windhoek in 2027

German airline Condor will resume direct flights between Frankfurt and Windhoek from June 2027, re-establishing a route that was previously part of its network until 2021.

The airline will operate the service three times a week, with flights departing from Frankfurt on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Return flights from Windhoek will depart on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Windhoek formed part of Condor’s route network from November 2014 until 2021, when the service was discontinued.

Announcing the route's return, Condor chief executive officer Peter Gerber said Namibia remained a popular long-haul destination among German travellers.

“With Windhoek, a destination that was part of our route network for many years, is returning to our long-haul offering. Namibia has been a popular long-haul destination for German holidaymakers for many years,” he said in a statement.

Gerber added that the direct connection, operated with the airline’s modern Airbus A330neo fleet, would provide an attractive option for both leisure travellers and tour operators while helping to meet growing demand for travel to Southern Africa.

According to Condor, tickets for the Frankfurt-Windhoek service are already available for booking.
